
Dharamshala: On 30 October 2025, the Officiating Sikyong and Kalon (Minister) for the Department of Security, Dolma Gyari, held an interactive meeting with an 11-member delegation from the Australia Tibet Council (ATC), led by Executive Officer Zoe Bedford, along with Cabinet Secretary Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi and Secretary Karma Rinchen, Department of Security.
The delegation is currently undertaking a visit to Dharamshala as part of their “Little Tibet Tour,” an initiative aimed at deepening their understanding of the Tibetan community in exile, its institutions, and the ongoing efforts of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) toward the preservation of Tibetan culture, religion, and identity.
During the meeting, Officiating Sikyong Dolma Gyari extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation and expressed appreciation for the continued advocacy and support extended by the Australia Tibet Council towards the just cause of Tibet. The interaction served as an opportunity to exchange views on the current situation inside Tibet, the CTA’s administrative functions, and the significance of international solidarity in promoting the Tibetan issue on global platforms.
