
Nagpur, Maharashtra: As part of the programme to visit schools in Tibetan settlements across Central India from 30 October to 7 November 2025, Kalon (Minister) Tharlam Dolma Changra of the Department of Education (CTA), embarked on her official tour on 27 October via Delhi.
While in Delhi, on 28 October, Education Kalon attended the 54th Board of Trustees Meeting of the Sherig Parkhang Trust to review and discuss the Trust’s overall administration. During the meeting, the Kalon instructed the trustees and administrators to implement decisions related to the Trust’s management promptly and without delay to ensure efficient and effective administration.
En route to the Bandhara Tibetan Settlement, Education Kalon (Minister) Tharlam Dolma Changra visited the Tibetan Sweater Sellers Market in Nagpur, Maharashtra on 29 October 2025.
Upon her arrival at Nagpur Airport, Kalon Tharlam Dolma Changra was warmly received by Karma Gelek, Member of the 17th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile; Tenzin Tsangpa, Bandhara Tibetan Settlement Officer; Lobsang Dhonyoe, Vice President of the Local Tibetan Assembly in Bandhara; Tenzin Passang, President of the Regional Tibetan Cooperative Society; and the 75 Tibetan sweater business owners.
During the visit, the Education Kalon addressed the gathered public.The Nagpur Tibetan Market Association presented a souvenir to Kalon as a token of appreciation.
Following the address, Kalon Tharlam Dolma Changra departed for the Norgyeling Tibetan Settlement in Bandhara, continuing her official tour.
