Dharamshala: From 4 to 6 October 2025, The Tibet Museum organised a three-day exhibition and film screening in Sankisa, Uttar Pradesh, at the invitation of the Youth Buddhist Society (YBS).
The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Anjli Sharma (SDM) and Suresh Chandra Bauddha (YBS President). Approximately 100 students, YBS staff members, and local residents attended the inauguration and explored the travelling exhibitions: Biography of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and India and Tibet: Ancient Ties, Current Bonds.
On the second day, over a thousand visitors from across Uttar Pradesh attended a conference at YBS and toured the Buddhist site. The museum team introduced attendees to the rich, ancient relationship between India and Tibet and provided detailed explanations of the exhibition themes.
YBS school children had the opportunity to watch documentaries about Tibet and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on two different occasions. Through this travelling exhibition, the museum successfully raised awareness about Tibet’s history and current situation, the ancient India-Tibet relationship, and the biography of His Holiness the Dalai Lama among India’s Buddhist communities.
