Kathmandu: The new President and Vice President of the 10th Local Tibetan Assembly of Jawalakhel Samdupling Tibetan Settlement virtually sworn in on 15 November 2024 at the settlement’s community hall under the supervision of local Tibetan Election Commissioner.

Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner Choekyi administered the oath of office from new President Tamding Tsering and Vice President Dhondup Tsering during the swearing-in ceremony.

The Jawalakhel Tibetan Settlement Officer and Jawalakhel Handicraft Centre’s Board of Directors, members, and staff attended the event.

During the ceremony, Local Tibetan Justice Commissioner Choekyi also briefly introduced the Tibetan legal system.
