Dharamshala: Yesterday, on 24 September 2024, the Department of Security, Central Tibetan Administration, hosted a dinner reception for Dapon Dawa Tsering.

The designation of Dapon is equivalent to a rank of Brigadier and the Dapon is the head of the Special Frontier Force (SFF).

Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Tibetan Parliament in Exile; Justice Commissioner Tenzin Lungtok, Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission; Kalon (Minister) Dolma Gyari, Department of Security; and Kalon Norzin Dolma, Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), attended the dinner reception. Dapon also met with the Secretary Jigmey Namgyal of the Department of Education on 25 September.
