
Dharamshala: Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration condoles the demise of Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s mother on behalf of the Tibetan people.
In the condolence letter, Sikyong Penpa Tsering wrote:
“I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of your beloved mother, Ama Lezang la. On behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration and the Tibetan people, please accept our deepest condolences and know that our thoughts and prayers are now with you and your family. The Tibetan people hold you in high regard and share your grief during this difficult time. We stand with your family and the people of Arunachal Pradesh in mourning the loss of beloved Ama Lezang la.”
“In Tibetan, your beloved late mother’s name means “good karma”, a fitting tribute as she gave birth to you, who has dedicated to serving the people. Her name reflects her good karma in bringing up such a compassionate leader as yourself. Her legacy will continue to shine through your compassionate leadership and example.”
“On behalf of the Tibetan people, we offer our prayers for Ama Lezang la’s swift and noble rebirth. With prayers,” Sikyong concluded.
