Taipei: A 20-day photo exhibition on “Tibet’s cultural heritage and 50 years of its successful preservation and promotion by the Tibetan people in exile” is underway at National Chang Kung University located in the south Taiwanese city of Tainan. The exhibition, which kicked off Tuesday, 6 October, is being organised by the Taipei-based Tibet Religious Foundation of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, following a successful exhibition held in July this year to commemorate the 50 years of Tibetans in exile.The exhibition showcases 300 rare pictures of Tibet and Tibetan people, including numerous religious artifacts and Tibetan currency. Pictures of Tibetan refugees’ accomplishments in community-building, education and cultural preservation are also on display. All photos carry detail description in Chinese language.”The National Chang Kung University is one of the largest university in Taiwan with more than ten thousand students.
