Dharamshala: The 9th Six Months Intensive Course on Tibetan Language and Buddhist Studies, organised by the Department of Religion and Culture in collaboration with Gyudmed Monastery’s Snowland Tibetan Studies, was successfully concluded on 30 December 2022.
During the closing ceremony of the six-month course, Tibetan Parliamentarian Migyur Dorje and Settlement Officer Tenzin Dadon attended the gathering as chief guests along with the Principal, lecturers and students of the Snowland Tibetan Studies school.
A total of 18 Tibetan graduates from colleges and universities participated in the course this time. The six-month course curriculum includes a compilation of five volumes of Buddhist teachings, doctrines, dialectic, poetry, essay writing, and Tibetan grammar.
