15 minutes for world peace to be observed on 7th May
Dharamsala (TibetNet), 1 May 2003: A world-wide simultaneous prayer and meditation for world peace will be observed on 7th May, 2003, from 10.00 am to 10.15am, Indian standard time.
The schedule for the event was recently announced by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in response to a special initiative taken by Mrs. Marianne Bailliey from Australia. The fifteen minutes of global peace meditation time will bring new hopes of peace and contribute to the continuing campaign against any kinds of conflicts.
It is expected that millions of peace lovers all around the globe will take part in this noble effort.
Those interested must check their local time coinciding with the scheduled Indian standard time for the event.
Every one is requested to join in to make this effort a successful one.
