Dharamsala: A five-member committee formed by the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission to review the rules of the Tibetan statute, law of public prosecution, and the law of evidence that governs the proof of facts in a legal proceeding successfully concluded its 45-day meeting on Saturday, 18 August.

The review committee is headed by former Tibetan Chief Justice Commissioner Jadhur Sonam Sangpo as Chairman, Secretary of the committee Tashi Gyatso, Secretary of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission. Other members of the review committee include Lhadruk, Justice Commissioner of Tibetan Local Justice Commission for Northern Region; legal scholar Namgyal Tsekyi and Rigzin Wangmo, Office Assistant at Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission.

The closing session of the review meeting was attended by Chief Justice Commissioner Kargyu Dhondup, Justice Commissioner Ngawang Choedak Choetri Tengpa, members of the review committee and staff of the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission.
