Manchester: The Tibetan community supported an Exhibition titled “From the mothers of Tiananmen to the daughters of Hong Kong, Tibet, Uyghur and Taiwan” organised in Manchester by Mei Yuk Wong, the Artist from Hong Kong to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre on 8 June 2024.
The event brought together groups from Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Uyghur community, and Tibet, each united in their stand against tyranny and aggression.
Representatives from each group delivered powerful speeches addressing China’s oppressive regime and Russia’s aggressive actions.
Among the speakers, Tashi Choedon from the Tibetan community highlighted the long history of China’s oppression and condemned the Chinese government’s totalitarian practices.
