Dharamshala: The press and media coordinator of the Department of Information & International Relations (DIIR) of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) organised its “Annual Interactive cum Lunch Meeting” for Dharamshala-based Tibetan and local Indian media with an aim to facilitate closer interaction and collaboration between the two.
Tenzin Paljor, the Media Coordinator of CTA, delivered his introductory remarks and extended appreciation to the attendees for their participation.
DIIR’s Additional Secretary Tenzin Lekshay (Spokesperson of the CTA) stressed constant contact between Tibetan and Indian media persons while welcoming everyone to his office for Tibet-related information and news stories for coverage. Besides the luncheon, books and publications by DIIR were also distributed.
More than 60 eminent journalists from both print and electronic media of various media houses including Dainik Jagran, Hindustan Times, Dainik Bhaskar, The Tribune, Amar Ujala, Hindustan Samachar, DD News, News 18, Asia News International (ANI), Tibet News Bureau, Voice of Tibet, Voice of America, Radio Free Asia, Tibet Times, Tibet Express etc attended the meeting.
