Dharamshala: The Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) is thrilled to announce that a DoE Scholarship holder, Ms Tenzin Tseten from IMS Unison University won gold medal in her master’s program of LLM. Tseten was awarded the gold medal at the University’s convocation ceremony on 2 November.
“DoE would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to her and her entire family,” said the head of the DoE Scholarship desk.
Tenzin Tsetan did her schooling from CST Gotahgoan and STS Paonta. She did BA LLB course from JSS Law College Mysore and hails from Norgyeling Tibetan Settlement, Bhandara.
Speaking to the DoE after the ceremony, Tseten said consistent hard work and passion were the key to her success. “I would like to tell all college-going Tibetan students to be attentive during the lectures on a daily basis and be consistent.”
She also thanked the Department of Education for providing the support and means to fulfil her dreams. “Thanks DoE on behalf of so many students, in shaping many futures and for the constant support.”
Tseten plans to pursue her career in litigation and is determined to serve the Tibetan community through that capacity. Currently, she is training under the Indian Supreme Court in New Delhi.
Tenzin was supported during her both Undergraduate and Postgraduate program under DoE Scholarship program with the kind help from Vietnam and Dalai Lama Charitable Trust Scholarship. Presently DoE is supporting more than 1000 college-going students.
