BYLAKUPPE: The Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) School, Bylakuppe in collaboration with the Tibetan Entrepreneurship Development (TED) initiative of the Department of Finance, Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), funded by USAID through the Tibet Fund, officially introduced Entrepreneurship as a subject for the class XI commerce students for the academic year 2018-2019.
This first batch will appear for their Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination in the academic year 2019-20.
The TED initiative has been advocating the importance and need of entrepreneurship subject in the Tibetan Schools since its inception in 2014. TED in collaboration with the TCV School Bylakuppe has been successful in providing the opportunity to study entrepreneurship as part of their mainstream curriculum recognized by the CBSE. Entrepreneurship will be an optional 6th subject to the class XI and class XII students.
