Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and MP Khenpo Jamphal Tenzin Receive Audience with Kyabje Minling Khenchen Rinpoche, Kyabje Khochhen Rinpoche, and others

Dharamshala: On 9 November 2024, Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel and Parliamentarian Khenpo Jampal Tenzin arrived at Bagdogra Airport from Delhi and Bangalore, respectively, and were warmly received by Tenzin Jorden, staff from the Gangtok Tibetan Settlement Office.

The following morning, they were welcomed in Gangtok by the Settlement Officer, Chairman of the Local Tibetan Assembly, and Secretary of Regional Dokham Chushi Gangdruk, and then proceeded towards Mindrolling Monastery in Tumlang, North Sikkim.

Upon arrival, they were warmly received by the monastery officials and later paid their respects to Kyabje Minling Khenchen Rinpoche, Kyabje Khochhen Rinpoche,  Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche, and His Eminence Penam Rinpoche. Afterwards, they visited the monastery.

Additionally, they visited the Phuntshog Ngayap Palri Meditation Retreat Center at Lugshyama (Hanuman Tok) to pay homage to the relics (Kudung) of the late Fourth Dodrubchen, Jigme Thupten Thinley Palsangpo earlier this morning.
