In a letter sent today, Sikyong writes, “It is my great pleasure and honour to extend, on behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration and the Tibetan people, particularly the Tibetan community in Karnataka, our heartiest congratulations on your appointment as Chief Minister of the state of Karnataka and your party’s electoral victory”.
“Karnataka has always led by example in supporting the Tibetan people. Today, it is home to prominent Buddhist monasteries and the largest Tibetan settlements in exile. As a proud Tibetan born and raised in the Bylakuppe Lugsung Samdupling Tibetan Settlement and on behalf of the Tibetan people, I reiterate our sincere appreciation to the Karnataka government and its people for their generosity and support. Additionally, I would like to express our profound gratitude for the support and initiatives you provided to the Tibetan community in Karnataka during your tenure as Chief Minister”.
Sikyong concluded the letter by expressing his trust in the abled leadership of the new CM and wished Karnataka new heights of prosperity.
