WASHINGTON DC: Representative Ngodup Tsering, Office of Tibet, Washington DC called on US Congresswoman Betty McCollum at the latter’s office on 26 March.

Representative Ngodup Tsering was accompanied by Ngawang Chime, President, board member of TAFM, Jigme Ugen, SEIU Healthcare Minnesota and Kunga Tashi, Chinese Liaison Officer, OOT DC.

In the meeting, Representative Ngodup Tsering thanked Congresswoman McCollum for her continued support towards the Tibetan people and the Tibet issue. The duo discussed various topics relating to the Tibetan community.

“It was my honor to meet today with leaders in the Minnesota’s strong & vibrant Tibetan community along with visitors from the in Washington, including Mr. Ngodup Tsering, His Holiness the ‘s Representative to the United States”: Congresswoman Betty McCollum tweeted following the meeting.

The meeting was organised by Tibetan-American Foundation of Minnesota (TAFM).
