VERMONT: On a two-day official visit to Vermont, Representative Ngodup Tsering, Office of Tibet, Washington DC called on Congressman Peter Francis Weich and a number of leaders in the state.
Representative also called on Vermont State Director, George Twigg and Mayor of Burlington, Miro Weinberger.
During the meetings, Representative thanked the officials for supporting the Tibetan issue and the Tibetan community in Vermont.
They discussed various topics including His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s lifelong achievements and leadership of the Tibetan people, CTA’s Middle Way Policy for peaceful resolution of Tibet and the rise of China as a global power.
Representative expressed his hope for the US leaders and Vermont’s particularly to continue its support for the Tibetan people.
