Riga, Latvia, 15 June, 2018: After the completion of a successful visit to Lithuania, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be arriving in Riga today on a three-day visit to Latvia.
On June 16 and 17 mornings, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will teach on Tsongkhapa’s In Praise of Dependant Origination (tendrel toepa) and Diamond Cutter Sutra (dorjee chodpa). On June 18 morning, His Holiness the Dalai Lama will confer Manjushree Empowerment (jamphelyang jenang) and Avalokisteswara Empowerment (chenrezig jenang). The teachings are being organized by Save Tibet Latvia, Save Tibet Foundation (Moscow) and Tibet Culture and Information Center, Moscow (Office of Tibet, Moscow) and the venue will be Skonto Hall.
