Dharamshala: Smt. Rinchen Lhamo, a member of the National Commission for Minorities, Government of India, paid a visit to the Central Tibetan Administration and monasteries adjacent to the premise of the Gangchen Kishong earlier this morning.
Following her visit to the Nechung and Gadong monasteries, Smt Rinchen Lhamo, along with her aide, made a visit to Tibetan Parliament in Exile, where Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang received her.
Thereafter, officiating Sikyong, Kalon Norzin Dolma hosted the visiting delegation at the Kashag Secretariat to discuss issues concerning the welfare of the Tibetan community in India, among others. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang, Tibetan Parliamentarian Tsering Yangchen, Cabinet Secretary Tsegyal Chukya Dranyi and the entourage of Smt. Rinchen Lhamo.
The delegation also visited the Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission, the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, the Tibet Museum, and the Upper Tibetan Children’s Village school.
