
Kalon Gyari Dolma Launches the Book Entitled ‘The truth as told by Nyima Lhamo’ along with Geshe Lhador, the Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Geshe Tsering Dorje, Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche’s Service Committee Chairman, and author Dorjee Rinchen on 12 July 2024
Dharamshala: The inauguration of the book title “The truth as told by Nyima Lhamo” (ཉི་མ་ལྷ་མོའི་བདེན་དོན་གླེང་བའི་གཏམ་) at Library of Tibetan Works and Archive annexe hall. It also marks nine years since the death of Tulku Tenzin Delek in Chinese custody; the event took place on 12 July 2024.
In attendance at the event were Kalon Gyari Dolma from the Department of Security, Geshe Lhador, the Director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives, Geshe Tsering Dorje, Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche’s Service Committee Chairman, and author Dorjee Rinchen.
The event commenced with Kalon Gyari Dolma, the chief guest, ceremonially lighting a butter lamp before Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche’s portrait. Following this, a one-minute period of silent reflection was observed in honour of the Tibetan self-immolators who bravely sacrificed their lives in response to the suppression endured under the Chinese government.
The distinguished guest formally inaugurated the book entitled in Tibetan “The truth as told by Nyima Lhamo” authored by Dorjee Rinchen. Following the book launch, Dorjee Rinchen delivered a comprehensive presentation on his work. Subsequently, Nyima Lhamo, the niece of Tulku Tenzin Delek Rinpoche, delivered an address at the book launch via an online platform.
In her address, Kalon Gyari Dolma, on behalf of the Central Tibetan Administration, extended sincere gratitude to all patriotic individuals, including Tulku Tenzin Delek, for their significant sacrifices and unwavering bravery in advocating the cause of Tibet. She also underscored the imperative of solidarity and harmony among Tibetans in advancing the collective cause of Tibet.
