Rome: On 27 November 2024, a book launch ceremony for the Italian edition of book titled ‘Ama La’ was held in a meeting hall of the Italian Senate in Rome.
At the book launch event, Representative Thinley Chukki of the Office of Tibet in Geneva expressed her gratitude to the book’s author and all Tibet supporters. In her remarks, she emphasised the importance of sustained international support for Tibet and the ongoing Tibetan struggle for justice and freedom.
Additionally, Kasur (former Cabinet Minister) Jetsun Pema, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s younger sister and former President of the Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV), gave a speech highlighting that if this book could be translated into other languages, it would be beneficial for spreading awareness about Tibet cause.
Similarly, speeches were also delivered by Andrea De Priamo, Chair of the Italian Parliamentary Intergroup for Tibet, Ilenia Malvasi, the Vice Chair, and Kasur Tenpa Tsering.
