His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s February 2015 visits to Trondheim Norway, for International Students Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT) Event and Copenhagen, Denmark for Buddhist Teachings and Public Talk

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will be in Trondheim, Norway and Copenhagen Denmark from 9 February to 13 February 2015 to give some Buddhist teachings and public talks, and to participate in the various activities organised by the host organisations in the two countries.
His Holiness is visiting Trondheim, Norway at the invitation of the International Student Festival in Trondheim (ISFiT) – a biennial festival organised by students at the University of Trondheim, Norway. The theme for ISFiT 2015 is ‘corruption’ and the festival will have 450 students participants from all over the word (www.isfit.org).
His Holiness will speak and participate in a dialogue with students on the topic A Better Future Without Corruption in the afternoon of 9 February. The Mayor of Trondheim Hon. Rita Ottervik will present His Holiness with a small symbolic gift on stage at the conclusion of the ISFiT event.
During the visit to Trondheim, His Holiness will also meet with a group of Burmese, Sri Lankan, Thai, Tibetan and Vietnamese Buddhists.
His Holiness will arrive in Copenhagen, Denmark on 10 February for a visit hosted by seven Danish organisations and companies: Being & Doing/CareTrade, Center for Wisdom & Compassion, CreAction/InTouch, The Danish Society for Tibetan Culture, Phendeling – Center for Tibetan Buddhism, Øsal Ling and Tibet Charity (http://dalailama2015.dk/en/)
Audiences for Board Members of the host organisations and Tibetans from Denmark and neighbouring countries who will be coming to Copenhagen to receive His Holiness will be held on His Holiness’s arrival in Copenhagen.
His Holiness will give a public talk on Strength Through Compassion & Connection in the afternoon of 11 February at the Bella Centre, Copenhagen and a one-day Buddhist teaching based on Geshe Langri Thangpa’s Eight Verses of Training the Mind on 12 February at the same venue.
Whilst in Copenhagen, His Holiness will also hold an audience for representatives of six different faiths (11 Feb.), meet with the Danish media (11 Feb.) and meet with members of the Danish Parliament (12 Feb.).
