Dirang: Kalon Ngodup Tsering of the Department of Education, CTA successfully wrapped up his official visit to Tibetan communities in Tenzinkhang, Bomdila and Dirang on 26 April 2017.
On 23 April, Education kalon visited the Sambhota school in Tenzinkhang. In his address at the gathering of students and staff, Kalon encouraged the students to strive for excellence in modern as well as inner education.
Kalon later addressed the members of Tibetan community in Tenzinkhang on the Kashag’s strategic policies on Tibetan welfare, education, health and finance. He further outlined vision of CTA’s Middle Way Approach and sustainability programs based on the five-fifty strategy of the 15th Kashag.
On 24 April, Kalon visited Bomdila Tibetan settlement and met with several dignitaries of the region. Kalon also addressed the Tibetan community in Bomdila.
On 25 April, Kalon visited Thupsung Dhargyeling monastery and Kalachakra temple in Dirang. Kalon met with important dignitaries of the Dirang region including DC of West Kameng.
The next day, on 26 April, Kalon Ngodup Tsering left for Guwahati.
