Mass sanitization drive in Norgyeling Tibetan settlement, Bandhara.
Dharamshala: With the surge in COVID-19 cases across India, the Department of Health (CTA) COVID-19 Emergency Task Force continues to strengthen its workforce and preventive measures to face the growing challenges and threat posed by the pandemic.
The process of mass sanitization drive which was initially planned to be carried out once a day has been modified to mass sanitization on zone wise colour code by the Department of Health, CTA.
For instance, those settlements which fall in red or containment zones should disinfect and sanitize the whole area, and settlements in the Orange zone to sanitize the offices and health facilities and junction area. The Green zone may sanitize as per their requirement.
Whilst periodically sanitization and disinfection of the public, residential, offices and health facilities are frequently practised in all the settlements, the 1st mass sanitization drive was conducted on 21st May.
