Dharamshala:  The Central Tibetan Administration invoked Nechung, the official state oracle, at a brief ceremony held this morning at Nechung Drayangling Monastery in Gangchen Kyishong.

Tibetan leadership comprising Acting Chief Justice Commissioner Karma Dadul, Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Sikyong Penpa Tsering, Education Kalon Tharlam Dolma, Security Kalon Gyari Dolma, DIIR Kalon Norzin Dolma, Election Commissioner and Public Service Commissioner Wangdu Tsering Pesur, members of the standing committee of the Tibetan Parliament in Exile Dorje Tseten, secretaries, senior officials and staff of the various departments of Central Tibetan Administration attended the ceremony.

The Central Tibetan Administration observes this customary annual ceremony once in the summer and once in the winter to pay respect and gratitude to Nechung, a key state oracle of the Central Tibetan Administration, for guidance and consultation on important matters.
