23rd October 2020 NAGPUR: As the world experienced one of the worst hit pandemic situation in the beginning of 21st century originated from China’s Wuhan city, not knowing about the factual cause of virus and its mystery – simply adding one more feather to their indoctrinated, ill designed and expansionist policy of communist government. This has led to the loss of hundreds and thousands of lives of near and dear ones barring no boundaries.
It was in Nagpur that on 3rd September 2020, Sh. Harish Adyalkar, Secretary of Lohiya Study Center took his last breath at the age of 83. Two days later, his son, Sh. Nitin Adyalkar (53yrs) also felt prey to the pandemic leaving behind his wife Shmt. Manda Nitin Adyalkar (46yrs), Riyanka (daughter 19yrs) and Rujan (son 14yrs). Shaken and distressed by the loss of two main pillars of the family the remaining members seems lost on the path of their possible survival. Given condition of the present family, the contribution towards Tibetan Freedom Movement by late Harish Adyalkar and despite the existent pandemic situation in Maharashtra and particularly in Nagpur, a delegation consisted of Sh. Arvind Nikose, National Co-Convener, Core Group for Tibetan Cause India, Shri. Sunil Patil, Acting Secretary, Lohia Study Center, Mr. Dhondup Gyalpo, TSO, Norgyeling, Bhandara, Sh. Sandesh Meshram, Regional Convener, Core Group for Tibetan Cause India, Sh. Sachin Ramteke, Organizational Secretary, ITFS, Maharashtra; and Coordinator, ITCO, visited the house of the deceased family and expressed the condolences respectively.
Riyanka Nitin Adyalkar, narrated the entire series of incident that witnessed the passing away of her father and grandfather within a span of two days. She added that it has been a complete shock to experience such incident for herself and others but nevertheless she seems adamant to face the challenges that lead to the path of her grandfather’s unfinished goal of striving for Tibet’s freedom and its’ identity. Sh. Arvind Nikose, on behalf of CGTC-I expressed the grief and vacuum that has been left behind by Sh. Adyalkar particularly towards the Ram Manohar Lohia’s vision of Himalaya and its significance through his publication and work for enlightening future generation of India’s mind.
Sh. Dhondup Gyalpo, presented a Tibetan traditional thangka of Lord Buddha for maintaining peace and purification of evil spirits that may have taken away these two lives while expressing gratitude to Sh. Adyalkar for what he has supported not only the cause of Tibet but also extended his assistance to local Tibetans during the time of their need. He wished for the speedy rebirth of Sh. Adyalkar and prayed for the energy bestowed upon the surviving members of family to continue with the challenges of uncertainties of life.
