In honour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama entails the donation of an ambulance vehicle to the Taipei City Fire Department on Birthday celebration event on 6 July 2024, Taiwan
Taiwan: On 6 July 2024, the celebration of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s 90th Birthday anniversary according to the Lunar calendar, led by Gaden Shartse Monastery Donga Choeling at Taiwan International Conference Hall.
During the commemoration, participants were presented with a virtual message from His Holiness on his 89th birthday anniversary and a video message addressed by Jangtse Choeje Kyabje Gosok Rinpoche, both conducted in Chinese subtitle.
104th Ganden Tripa, Jetsun Lobsang Tenzin Palsangpo as the chief guest of the event, other distinguished guests including; Wen Lii Spokesperson at the Office of the President, R.O.C. Taiwan, Sawyer Mars, Deputy Minister from Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior and Convenor, Religious Committee, DPP, YU, Cheng-Hsien also accompanied by Gaden Shartse Monastery Khen Rinpoche (Abbot) Jangchup Sangye and Secretary Mingyur Youdon of the Office of Tibet, Taiwan.
In honour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the commemoration organised by Gaden Shartse Monastery Donga Choeling entailed the donation of an ambulance vehicle to the Taipei City Fire Department. Furthermore, on the social page of the Taiwan presidential office, a spokesperson sent a birthday wish to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The celebration was a testament to the community’s reverence, with over 1000 people, including members of the Taiwanese and Tibetan communities, coming together to mark this auspicious occasion.
