Dharamshala:་In the early morning of the on the First Day of Tibetan Losar (10 February 2024), Officiating Sikyong Norzin Dolma, the Kalon of Department of Information and International Relations, and Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering from the Tibetan Parliament in Exile preside over the celebration. Tibetan parliamentarians, Secretaries of CTA departments, and staff, along with the monks of Namgyal Monastery and Secretaries of Gaden Phodrang, also attended to observe the Tsedor at Thekchen Choeling Tsuglagkhang, a ceremony that was practised since the second Dalai Lama.
The ritual observance began with a prayer service followed by an offering of the mandala to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s throne from the officiating Sikyong and Deputy Speaker.
