59th Anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day in Riga, observed next to the Chinese embassy and Freedom Monument.

The Danish Tibet Support Committee rented a van and decorated the inside with Tibetan flags, various posters, information and declarations in English, Danish and Chinese and parked the van right in front of the Embassy of China in Copenhagen. – Before parking, we contact the police, the embassy is located on a public road in a residential area and there is free unlimited parking. — We leave the car between March 8th and March 11th to make sure that everybody has time to read the message. – On March 10th the Tibet Support Committee was co-organizer of the demonstration in front of the embassy.
Students for Free Tibet – Denmark along with Danish Dansk Selskab for Tibetansk Kultur/The Danish Tibetan Cultural Society, Tibet Support Committee and supporters marked the 59th anniversary of Tibetan Uprising Day.
On 10 March 2018 Director Mickey Lemie’s film The Last Dalai Lama was shown as part of Human Righst Human Wrongs 10th Edition in Oslo, Norway. Prior to the screening, which was attended by a good crowd, three China experts spoke about the human rights situation in China and Tibet.
Representative Chonpel Tsering addressed the gathering at the evening event organised by the coalition of Tibet Society UK, Free Tibet, Students for Free Tibet UK and Tibetan Community in Britain at Indian YMCA on 10 March 2018. He gave a gist of the Tenth March Statement issued by the President of the Central Tibetan Administration. He thanked everyone present, especially Tibet supporters, for their support and their active participation in the day’s events.
