The lamas conducting the Tsok.

Belgium: Yuenten Ling Tibet Institute in Huy, Belgium conducted a very elaborate Karling Shitro Tsok for two days on 29th and 30th June conducted by 13 lamas from various Kagyue centres in Europe and was attended by many disciples and followers of the Centre.

The Tsok was conducted on the terma text of Druptob Karma Lingpa and other accompanying texts. It had both peaceful and wrathful components, and hence shitro.

Representative Tashi Phuntsok attended the Tsok at the invitation of Lama Zuepa. Last year the Institute held a 2-day Chod Rituals which he attended as well.

Before the final session of the ritual, a Choekor was arranged. With every paraphernalia of a comprehensive ceremony – with duk, dung, gyeilng, Nya and all disciples with sacred scripture-texts on their shoulders –

During the breaks of sessions, Representative met with lamas and in particular discussed with Lama Zuepa on many issues particularly the forthcoming of His Holiness the Dalai Lamas’ Birthday in Brussels by the Office of Tibet, the 8th International Tibet Support Group Meeting etc.

Yuenten Ling and the Office of Tibet shares a close relation spanning over for two decades, from the time of late Lama Karta.
