Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok with Prof. Tejinder Sharma, director of Kurukshetra University

Dharamsala: Prof. Tejinder Sharma, director of Kurukshetra University who has come to Dharamsala for some official work visited Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile along with Dr Manoj Sharma, Assistant Prof. of Himachal Pradesh University Regional Centre and Dr Vishal Nehria on 12 July 2019.

Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok received them at his office and briefed them about the evolution of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile and democratization of Tibetan polity, the current situation inside Tibet, and Middle Way Approach. He then spoke about panel discussions organized by TPiE in various colleges in the past and expressed the desire to organise similar panel discussion in their university in the future.

Prof. Tejinder Sharma expressed his appreciation for enlightening him on Tibet’s issue and promised to spread awareness on Tibet’s issue amongst youngsters. Finally, Deputy Speaker presented them with books published by TPiE as a memento and escorted them to the parliament hall.
