Shimla: Chief Representative office in Shimla visited the office of Himachal Pradesh’s Governor Acharya Dev Vrat on 18 July to extend farewell wishes to the Governor as the news regarding Governor Dev Vrat’s transfer to Gujurat came to the light.

Representatives of Chief Representative Office along with the representatives of Tibetan Youth Congress and Tibetan Women Association paid a visit to the Governor’s Office and presented the Governor with a ceremonial scarf and Tibetan Buddhist Thanka as a token of appreciation and gratitude on behalf of all the Tibetans in the state of Himachal Pradesh. They also congratulated Governor Dev Vrat for his new endeavor and solicited his continued support for Tibetans and the cause of Tibet.

Governor Acharya Dev Vrat will take over as the Governor of Gujurat and Shri Kalraj Mishra is appointed as new the Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
