Leh Ladakh: Jammu and Kashmir Governor Shri Narinder Nath Vohra called on His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the latter’s residence at Shiwatsel phodrang on Tuesday.
The Governor, who was on an official visit to Leh, met the Tibetan spiritual leader before commencing his offical engagements in the region.
During the meeting, His Holiness discussed the importance of dialogue and reconciliation as a way forward in today’s global community and the need for a universal approach towards tackling differences.
He also spoke about his commitment to revive ancient Indian knowledge and its indepth knowledge on workings of emotions and mind.
The Governor was accompanied by his advisors, Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary Planning.
