Moscow, June 7: Telo Tulku Rinpoche, The Honorary Representative of H.H. the Dalai Lama to Russia, Mongolia and CIS countries on Thursday signed an agreement with Russian Translator Mikhail Elinski and Chenchenbai Mongush to translate the Tibetan & English Version of “Science and Philosophy in the Indian Classics; Volume 1: The Physical world”.

“The book was first published in Tibetan by Gaden Phodrang and since its release, It has been translated in English. As of now, the book is being translated into many different languages and we are very happy to be able to have the work of the Russian version begin,” said Telo Tulku Rinpoche.

“The book is planned to be completed within the next 18 months and it will have to be edited before it will be available for publishing”.

English Translator Mikhail Elinski, has a PhD in philosophy from St.-Petersburg State University, and his thesis was on “Critical and Relativist Thinking in Ontology, 2008 Among his translations works are:‘A Lamp to Illuminate the Five Stages’ by Tsongkapa; ‘Mahamudra Eliminating the Darkness of Ignorance’ by IX Karmapa; ‘Enlightened Courage’ by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche; ‘Awakening the Mind Lightening the Heart’by His Holiness the Dalai Lama; ‘Path to the Union of Cleat Light and Illusory Body’ by Geshe Acharya Thubten Loden; ‘Long sadhana of Vajrayogini’; The sadhana and ritual texts for the practice of Yamantaka; ‘Benefits and Practices Related to Statues and Stupas’ and others.

Tibetan translator Chechenbai Mongush will be the Tibetan Translator and he holds the degree of Acharya from The Central University of Tibetan Studies, Sarnath, U.P.
