DHARAMSHALA: A four-member Indian parliamentary delegation called on His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the latter’s residence on Monday.

The delegation includes Dr Prasanna Kumar Patasani, member of Biju Janata Party from Bhubaneshwar, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Yadav, BJP from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, Dr Sunil Gaikwad, member of BJP from Latur and a member of Shiv Sena Party—all representing the Committee of Parliament on official language.

The Tibetan leader welcomed the MPs to Dharamsala calling it as his “second home”.

“This is my second home since 1960, Government of India arranged my more or less permanent home here. So, since Dharamshala is my home for 60 years, I extend my welcome to you,” His Holiness told the MPs.

Accompanying the delegation were staff of the various members of parliament and their family members.
