With Ravangla and Gangtok, Sikyong completes his effort to visit all Tibetan settlements in India

DHARAMSHALA: Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay today left Dharamshala for an official visit to Ravangla and Gangtok Tibetan settlements in Sikkim. He will be in Sikkim from 2 – 5 November.

During his visit, he will address the local Tibetans and visit the various Tibetan institutes in the area.

Sikyong will be in New Delhi for two days following his return from Sikkim. He will meet with local officials and media in Delhi.

With the ongoing visit to Ravangla and Gangtok, Sikyong Dr. Lobsang Sangay has visited all of the Tibetan settlements in India and, most of the major Tibetan communities in Europe and north America.

During his visits, Sikyong has met all the major Tibetan institutes and organisations, such as Tibetan old age homes, monasteries and schools. He has also participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of several Tibetan schools in India.

Sikyong will return to Dharamshala on 8 November.
