Office of Tibet in Taiwan releases 4 new books on Tibet[Wednesday, 20 April 2011, 9:51 a.m.]

The Office of Tibet or Tibet Religious Foundation of His Holiness the
Dalai Lama based in Taipei has released 4 new books on His Holiness the
Dalai Lama and Tibet. The new books released are titled (1)
The Status of Tibet (second edition), (2) His Holiness the 14th Dalai
Lama’s Biographic Novel, (3) Pictorial book of 50 years in exile, Tibet
Experience and (5) The Life Story of Nag-stang Xei-lue Kyiduk. All
these books are written in Chinese language. The Snow Land
Publication, which was established in 2009, has so far published 6
books on His Holiness and Tibet including these four books.


Tsegyam, Secretary of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who is on an
official visit to Taipei, presided over the book release function held
at the Office of Tibet on 19 April. Mr Dawa Tsering, His
Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Representative in Taiwan, briefed the
gathering of about the background of each book. The students learning
Buddhism at the Foundation of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Taipei
attended the function. “Our Foundation is very grateful to
those Tibet supporters, who agreed upon our request and suggestion to
establish the Snow Land Publication in Taiwan. All the above books are
now on sale in most of the major bookshops in Taipei city. Our aim is
to bring out as many books about Tibet in Chinese language and that
would help in deeper understanding about Tibet and Tibetan people by
Chinese readers, particularly the Chinese brothers and sisters living
