According to the office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, some 350 Buddhist followers from Korea have visited Dharamshala to attend the teachings. His Holiness described the Korean Buddhist followers as 'the spiritual friend' of Tibetan and Chinese Buddhists. His Holiness said Korean Buddhists have the responsibility to promote and preserve the precious Buddhist tradition, which originated from the great land of India. We (Tibetans), as the junior disciples of Lord Buddha, express our gratitude and greetings to all of you (Korean Buddhists), who are senior to us. |
