Teachings begin 4 August

Dharamshala: His Holiness the Dalai Lama will begin a three-day teaching on Atisha's 'Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment (jangchup lam ki drolma)' on 4 August here at the Tsuglagkhang, main temple.

The teaching will be conferred at the request of a Korean Buddhist group.

Around 300 to 400 Korean Buddhists are expected to attend the teaching, according to the office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

There will be two sessions on 4 and 5 August - morning session from 9:00 - 11:30 and in the afternoon from 1:00 - 3:30. There will be only morning session on the last day, 6 August.

The teachings will be translated into Korean over public address system, while their English and Chinese translations will be aired on FM channels.
