Co-operative audit training in Bangalore
Dharamshala: In the view of achieving efficiency in cooperative audit, the Office of Auditor General, Central Tibetan Administration, is organising a 12-day Cooperative Management and Cooperative Audit Training, which began on 27 February.
There is 16 staff of the Office of Auditor General participating in the training, which is being held in Bangalore.
Through this training the organiser aims to create better understanding of the principles of co-operative audit, co-operation rules and regulations, and to improve the quality of co-operatives' audit and report.
There are 54 Tibetan settlements in India, Nepal and Bhutan. Out of which 18 in settlements people have formed co-operative societies under the respective State Co-operative Societies Act.
The Audit Office received funding for this training from Ms. Polly Yau through the Tibet Fund in New York.
The Audit Office had organised two batches of co-operative audit training in the past with the help of National Co-operative Training Institutions, New Delhi.
