Dharamsala: The President of the Central Tibetan Administration Dr Lobsang Sangay left for a 12-day trip to the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Finland today.
Prior to his visit to the Czech Republic, the President is scheduled to meet Indian dignitaries in Delhi. He is also scheduled to speak on Tibet and India at the Himalayan Echoes-Kumaon Festival of Literature and Arts in Nainital in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
In Prague, the capital of Czech Republic, the President will speak at the 22nd Forum 2000 conference, an initiative of the Forum 2000 Foundation founded in 1996 as a joint initiative of the late Czech President Vaclav Havel, Japanese philanthropist Yohei Sasakawa, and Noble Peace Prize Laureate Elie Wiesel.
The president is scheduled to visit Slovakia and Finland where he will interact with dignitaries and media. Upon his return, the president will attend the Thank You Himachal Pradesh event scheduled on 15 October in Shimla.
