Wisconsin: Following the successful conclusion of the 17th North American Tibetan Association conference, Representative Ngodup Tsering, Office of Tibet, Washington DC visited Dharma centres and Tibetan community in Wisconsin.

On 5 September, Representative held a brief meeting with the local Tibetan community and members of Wisconsin Tibetan Association.

At the meeting, President of the local Association, Lobsang Tenzin presented an annual report, apprising the Representative of the various achievements and progress in terms of preserving Tibetan language, culture and garnering support for Tibetan cause.

He informed the Representative of the hoisting of Tibetan national at the City Council Hall in honour of the 10th March resistance movement and His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s visits in the city.

Representative congratulated the community. He urged them to uphold the Tibetan values and identity, to honour His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s immeasurable contribution and of the Central Tibetan Administration.
