DHARAMSHALA: The Department of Religion and Culture of the Central Tibetan Administration invites applications for a six-month intensive course on Tibetan language and Buddhist philosophy.

This is the fifth six-month course on Tibetan language being organised by the department in collaboration with Gyudmey monastery based in Hunsur Tibetan settlement.

The participants would be given a course-completion certificate after clearing a test at the end of the program. Click here for details.

Venue: Gyudmey monastery, Hunsur Tibetan Settlement, Karnataka state

Duration: 1 July 2018 – 31 December 2018 (Food, accommodation and travel expenses to and from the venue will be provided for the participants)

Eligibility:

College graduate
Competent in Tibetan language or someone who has studied Tibetan till class 12.
Someone who can complete the six-month course without discontinuation.

* A copy of the college (degree) certificate
* Updated Tibetan green book
* Latest passport size photo
