DHARAMSHALA: A training workshop on Museology took place on 10 January at Conference Hall in Norbulingka Insititute, Dharamshala under the leadership of Mr Tashi Phuntsok, Director of The Tibet Museum, DIIR. Joined by Nicole M. Crawford, Curator of Collections Art Museum, University of Wyoming as Mentor cum Trainer for the day.

It was attended by six staff members from The Tibet Museum and Museum Representatives from Tibetan Medical and Astro Institute and Norbulingka Institute. The day started with AUDIENCE/VISITOR as first discussion in all strategies for competitive edge and ahead of time, touching various aspect of Museology like labelling, collection, storage, artifact inventory management and Ethical Guidelines.

With active participation from attendees through various story telling, experience sharing and underpinning queries, the workshop was very enriching, fruitful and wholesome experience for all the participants.

During the recess, the attendees also got an opportunity to look around norbulingka museum and workshop which added to the learning experience.
