Dharamshala: Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile is scheduled to officially visit Washington, DC and other cities in US from 5 – 17 December.

Tomorrow, Speaker will depart for Los Angeles from Delhi International Airport.

The program commences at Los Angeles on 6 December. He will next visit New York from 8 to 10 December.

On 10 December, World Human Rights day and the 28th anniversary of the conferment of Noble Peace Prize on His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Speaker will address the North America Solidarity with Tibet Rally.

From 12 to 14 December, he will meet the members of State’s Parliament and proceed with official program in Washington, DC.

Speaker will have engagements in San Francisco from 15 – 16 December and in Salt Lake city, Utah on 17 December.

He will depart for Delhi on 18 December and visit Tibetan settlements in Bylakuppee, Karnataka from 20 – 22 December.

Speake Khenpo Sonam Tenphel is expected to return to Dharamshala on 24 December.
