Dharamsala: A twenty-member Indian delegation led by Shri Vikas Nehria, member of Dharamsala Indo-Tibetan Friendship Association visited the Tibetan parliament to witness the ongoing proceedings of the fourth session of the 16th Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel acknowledged the presence of the delegation during the proceedings.

Later Deputy speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok met with the members for a briefing on Tibet: its history, present situation inside Tibet, Tibetan leadership and community in exile, network of Tibet support groups as well as the procedure of the parliamentary session.

The visit was facilitated by Tibetan Settlement Office, Dharamshala.
