New Delhi – A twelve-member delegation of Core Group for Tibetan Cause is on a three-day official visit to  Dharamsala from 21 to 24 September 2017 to get firsthand experience of the democratic set up of CTA and it’s functionaries. The delegates, who have been long associated with Tibet movement are newly elected after the 5th All India Tibet Support Groups Conference held at Guwahati from 2nd – 3rd November 2015.

The delegation is lead by Shri R.K.Khrimey, the National Convener of Core Group for Tibetan Cause and accompanied by his team of three National Co-conveners and nine Regional conveners.

During the three-day visit, the delegation will be meeting with President Dr. Lobsang Sangay, Secretaries of CTA, Speaker Ven. Khenpo Sonam Tenphel in the first two days.

They will also witness the proceedings of the fourth session of the 16th Tibetan parliament.

The delegation will interact with Tibetan NGOs and local Tibet supporters from Dharamsala and visit TCV School & Norbulingka institute on the last day.

Core group for Tibetan Cause is the apex body of Tibet Support Groups active in India. It is an informal and democratic body which functions as the Think tank, Planning long term and short term programs for TSGs.
