Chief Resilience Officer (CRO) of CTA and Director of SARD, Kaydor Aukatsang.

Dharamshala, July 17, 2017: Kaydor Aukatsang, Chief Resilience Officer (CRO) of CTA and Director of SARD, made an official visit to Brussels and Washington, DC from 9 – 16 July 2017.
In Brussels he briefed senior staff of the European Parliament and others on CTA’s five fifty vision, the various projects supported by foreign donor agencies and the need for continued support. The Representative and staff of the Office of Tibet, who helped schedule the meetings, and staff of the Tibet House Trust based in London, UK were also present in the meetings.
Mr. Aukatsang was in Washington, DC from July 13-16. He met with several senior staff in the US Congress handling appropriations and foreign policy in the House and Senate. The appropriation staff in both the Congress is currently finalizing the US government’s FY2018 budget which starts in October 1.
The CRO shared CTA’s five-fifty vision, provided an update on the various projects in the Tibetan community funded by the United States government, and the need for continued support.
Mr. Aukatsang also met with senior staff at USAID and PRM. The Office of Tibet assisted in setting up some of the meetings and accompanied the CRO.
