His Holiness the Dalai Lama returns to Dharamshala from an 18-day visit to Belgium, France and Poland, 23 September 2016.

DHARAMSHALA: The Tibetan spiritual leader, His Holiness the Dalai Lama returned to his official residence in Dharamshala today following a series of teachings and public talks in Belgium, France and Poland.

Hundreds of Tibetans and non-Tibetan devotees, with ceremonial Tibetan scarves and flowers, offered a very warm welcome to His Holiness.

His Holiness was received at his residence by the Chief Justice Commissioner Mr Kargyu Dhondup along with the two Justice Commissioners of Tibetan Supreme Justice Commission, Sikyong Dr Lobsang Sangay, Speaker of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile Khenpo Sonam Tenphel, Deputy Speaker Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, members of Kashag and Tibetan Parliament.

His Holiness’ upcoming schedule includes a four-day teaching on Aryadeva’s 400 Stanzas on the Middle Way (uma shigyapa) at the Main Tibetan Temple Tsuglagkhang from 3 – 6 October, two-day teachings on Dharmakirti’s Pramanavarttika (tsema namdrel) Riga, Latvia from 10 – 11 October, one-day teaching in Zurich, Switzerland on 14 October followed by teachings and public talk in Milan, Italy from 21 – 22 October.
